Fae Bennett Obit PortraitReal Estate Property Manager. Born September 13th, 1924 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Ben Thorman, Sr. and Eva Hamblen Thorman; departed April 20, 2010.

Fae attended schools in Okmulgee, was a Cheerleader, a charter member of the Mademoiselles Girls Club and the Rainbow Girls.  She attended the Texas State Girls School in Denton, Texas.  She enjoyed China Painting and was a member of the Daffodil Garden Club, and the Okmulgee Service League. 

After moving to Tulsa she was Bell Choir Mother at Boston Avenue Methodist Church.  She later moved to the First United Methodist Church where she was active in the Beacon Sunday School Class and the UMW Pricilla Circle.  She also loved to play Bridge, was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Questers Antique Collections Group. 

Fae is survived by her husband, Donald E. Mitchell of Tulsa; her brother, Ben Thorman, Jr. of Okmulgee; two sons, David Bennett and Mark Bennett of Tulsa; five nephews, Steven Beene of Dallas, Ben Thorman, III of Jenks, Ross Thorman of Okmulgee, and Randy Thorman of Pryor; her niece Sally Davis of Tulsa; and her God Daughter, LeeAnn Loftin of Broken Arrow. 

Services will be held at 10:30am, Friday, April 23rd, at the First United Methodist Church, 1115 South Boulder Ave., Tulsa.  Visitation, Thursday from 6-8pm at Moores Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa. 

In lieu of flowers, the family respectively requests that donations be made in her memory to a favorite charity of your choice.
